RESUMEN
El presente texto es un resumen de un
extenso trabajo realizado en el marco
de la investigación sobre “Privaciones
de libertad y derechos fundamentales”
llevada a cabo por el Observatorio del
Sistema Penal y los Derechos Humanos
de la Universidad de Barcelona. En el
ámbito de la investigación se analiza
la normativa y la práctica de su apli-
cación relativa a diversos supuestos
de privación de libertad: la detención
preventiva, con especial atención en
la detención prolongada en el tiem-
po y en régimen de incomunicación
en la que se suprimen derechos de la
