Political parties and citizens regularly go to Court in order to solve their political and electoral controversies. When the parliame-ntarian deliberations regarding a possible electoral constitutional reform started, specialists and legislators agreed on the need to strengthen the electoral justice in order to give the institutions the functions and faculties required for facing the new challenges of the federal electoral jurisdiction, which has now become a norm.
