Este ensayo busca expone r la visión personal
de la autora sobre la obra y pe rsonalidad
del maestro Agu stín Pérez Carrillo. Se
apunta que como su prod ucción académica,
abundante y prof unda, no puede encasillarse
reducciones. Por lo cual, se i ndican, unos
algunas car acterísticas de su labor, como
el interés const ante de ofrecer soluciones
tradiciones de i nvestigación provenientes
de diversos campos del cono cimiento; y
el elemento común de toda s sus obras; un
e inclaudicable, el compromiso s ocial. Este
último, de acuerdo c on el maestro, debe ser
asumido en tod a investigación académica,
especialmente , en el área de las ciencias
sociales. Además de su i nvestigación, se
resalta su labor como e ntusiasta promotor de
diversas activid ades académicas, que dieron
investigación de diversa s generaciones
The purpose of th is essay is to present the
personal vision of it s author regarding

Carrillo. Being his pro duction extensive

Therefore, some e xamples of his thinking
are presented, highlight ing some
distinctive fea tures of his work such as his
constant intere st in offering reasonable
solutions to iss ues related to legal
philosophy, politics and m oral as well as
the application of inv estigation traditions
the common element s in all his work:
high intellectual rigor a nd a clear and
unwavering object ive, social commitment.
The latter, in his opin ion, must be
assumed in any ac ademic investigation;
especially in social s tudies. Besides his
statements in ter ms of research, his work
as an enthusias tic promoter of academic
activities, whi ch gave rise to the creation
of working and rese arch groups in
different generat ions, is also analyzed.
